I've seen a all aluminum hood scoop built for and on what I assume is a Kirkham replica Cobra the scoop tapers from the front up and to the rear near the wind shield. I see it as the best direction for me. Currently I have a small as original hood scoop. My two cut down in height S&H air cleaners are up against the inner surface of the hood. I'd like to use a oval Ford dual four air cleaner with maybe a larger K&N element. That would bring the portion of that air cleaner through the hood surface. I' d like to buy or have built a similar scoop.
