I have only this 1984 Everett Morrison 427 SC replica. I admire the Daytona coups for the advances they brought. The streamed line shape, the radiator air being ducted outside back on top of hood to cut the air from under the car and create down force. and beating Ferrari. I'm not going to build a Daytona coup at this stage in my life. But the Daytona was a big jump in evolution of the Cobra linage. Thank you Pete Brock. The Cobra has a lot of problems with its nostalgic shape. but I like it. I never got into a Daytona replica, I May not fit. But back to my car's situation. I'd like to have the car repainted but not till after I resolve the air cleaner thing or just give up. I'm just not happy with things the way they are now. I feel the S&H air cleaners are restrictive, not sure what I'd ever do with more power but I want it.
