I just came back from the theater and wanted to get my thoughts down before brain fade set in, OPP (Old People Problem

While there are more than enough factual inconsistencies for a authenticity critic to raise cain, that's probably the case with most real life adventures that are put to the big screen. I think when you just sit back and enjoy the movie without putting on the minutia critics hat you're in for an extraordinarily good experience.
Christian Bale does a stunningly good Ken Miles. Matt Damon, who I initially had doubts about as Shelby, also did an excellent job. The one thing I think he missed out on was the playful impish quality Shelby used as his snake charming
oil when he was selling some idea.
I give the movie Five Stars, the story and the telling of it are just that good. Forget the minutia and you will appreciate and enjoy one of the all time great American stories. And to BLAS point above about Ken Miles, it is and he genuinely deserves the recognition.
