We are all in the geezer class of owners! We remember what these cars looked like when they first appeared and like a first lover (for some of us) you never get over her.
The younger crowd that was not even alive when these cars burst upon the automotive scene and wasted every challenger in sight, does not have that same love affair. I think there is a market space for both and each will enhance the value of the other.
My preference is the original look, but the new look is not offensive — it is just not preferred (for me). I think they did it tastefully and in a fashion that will address a portion of the market they did not previously reach. I don't look at it as a replacement as much as I look at it as an expansion of the franchise.
