I don't know if Bob had suffered a stroke or what, but the last time I saw him, he seemed pretty frail and unsteady. He's had a heck of a life and I wish him only the best.
I was aware of the driving school issues. It is only about 30 miles from where I live and there have been assorted stories in the newspaper, in the past. I'd gone to several events there, including Bob's 80th (I think) birthday and am glad to see that the school is continuing. I don't know what vehicles they are using now.
BTW I believe that for Bob's B'day celebration, there was an open track day and a local guy slid his Bugatti Veyron into one of the tire bumpers. He didn't stick around to talk about it.
