I need some help with finding valve stems that will fit my Halibrand "style" wheels. I was told that they were probably made by American Racing but I couldn't find and info about that style. Their on a 2004 build Backdraft Racing.
Where the valve stem goes thru is approximately 1/2 to 9/16 inch thick. The tire shop installed rubber stems but their definitely not the correct ones and the only metal stems they had were about 1/4 in. too short. with a little force the rubber stems could be pushed thru or into the tire. I contacted Iconic Parts and they said they use motorcycle stems???? Surely some of you have encountered the same issue as I have....any suggestions would be appreciated.
