I drove a Cobra for a year with a hardtop. Cool in summer (100 degrees) because I was in the shade, no side windows. Warm in the winter.
It made driving a Cobra a better experience. Now it did not look as good with the top but driving was much better.
Coach has had three Cobra and all had soft tops. FFR, Hurricane and now an Unique.
The top he has now is for a FFR but with a little foam strip on the passenger side it fits his Unique. I can't remember who makes them. Not cheap but when you can add four to six months to your driving time it's worth it.

It' heavy duty and you can drive 100 mph with no problem. I don't know the top speed you could drive with this top.
The owner of the hardtop I mentioned as the start of my post tested his. And as he told me "rock solid to 142".

Most of the original style soft top lift at 60 mph. Leak rain and wind.
