Even with an original 380HP 289 these cars are killers — especially if you disrespect them (and yourself). That admonishment has been made umpteen times on the site here. Put in a 500 hp replacement for that 380HP engine and the potential for an unhappy ending increases disproportionately.

Some folks believe it and drive accordingly others, well, not so much. This driver obviously fell into the not so much grouping ...

Would be good for all of us to show some respect here. I did not know this gentleman nor do I know what caused his accident but I don’t think it’s appropriate to declare to the world that his death is good for our collective gene pool. I have made my share of bad driving decisions and while I don’t know if that’s what happened here, even if it is the case we should respect his memory, his family and friends, and all the good that I am sure he did in his life.
