I had electric power steering on my Lotus 7 replica. It was what came on it. It had only one turn lock to lock and with the power steering you could catch the rear when it was pretty far gone. It lacked any feel though but with the nearly open (cycle fenders) front wheels it was still pretty easy to place.

With top drivers (not me) the car I had won at least 12 national scca championships.
