Yes, correct. No badges on factory FIA cars.
My car, though described as “289FIA 'English' spec.”, is loosely based on COB6008, not the Shelby FIA cars.
COB6008 was delivered from the AC factory as “a street car”….“with cut backdoors, wide flares and Halibrand wheels” (ref. Registry). It was, in effect, an English equivalent of an FIA car, and has an extensive racing history.
6008 wore an AC badge on the trunk and a Cobra badge on its nose, although I can’t verify from early pictures whether the Cobra badge was a factory fit by AC.
6008 wore “Powered by FORD” badges as well.
To my knowledge, the only FIA car that wore any badges at all is CSX2323, but after its resto in ’98, it didn’t have them. Most period shots of 2323 show it without badges.
