I think it's designed for that -- but I don't think it takes much to tow a 2500 lb. car. I move the car forward and backward in my garage, even when it's not on the GoJaks, and I can do it easily (and I'm not what I was 40 years ago
). I really like the look of those tow hooks. I might very well still install one. But, take care, the nice ones that I show in this thread are over a hundred bucks each. There are look alikes on eBay for less than twenty -- but they're marked as "decorative pieces."
