Only after the reason 25 amps running though the ammeter was explained.
Where is that 25 amps going? My ammeter shows about 20 amps after I've started it up, with a little bit of cranking, but moves back to less than 5 after it's run a bit. Car ammeters have been the same for 100 years. It's only when somebody wires a load to the battery side of the gauge that the readings get funky.
