Ha ha, Larry I have brain farts all the time, but then I'm old. I've owned this setup since 1970 and ran it on my 1965 Mustang Hi-Po fastback.

You can't see the linkage in this picture but if you have the 1965 "Ford Performance Catalog" there is a very detailed picture on page 33. You'll probably notice I'm very fond of Ivy Green. Four out of my last 5 cars were painted Ivy Green. By the way, this Mustang was a concours winner

You have the thick hex in the right location, it's a thin head smaller hexed screw I'm thinking of. It goes on the loop in the linkage rod. I'll still post a photo later! (when my head is screwed on straight!)
