Just a little info for the "temperature challenged" amongst us. In my seemingly never-ending battle to control the overheating FE, I have taken the next step and replaced the stock (at least, stock in 1991) brass radiator with an alumium Griffin radiator. The new radiator is a double row unit using 1.5 inch tubes. I also drained the block and then refilled the cooling system with distilled water and Water Wetter. This was all over the weekend and I still haven't even had a chance to try it out but will post results here as soon as I get a reading on how well this worked.
