It always amazes me how some folks will ask for guidance resolving an issue and when a working solution is provided, choose to totally ignore the offering.

The solution is exactly what Jim has already identified for you. You can save yourself a lot of time and frustration finding the same solution or you can go the long route and rediscover what Jim and the rest of us have long since found to be the issue.

Of course it is always possible you could unsuccessfully search and ultimately give up never having eliminated the shimmy and instead selling the car because it is not pleasant to drive like that.
