You could try to find someone qualified to do a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) (This is a real job, not just someone here driving over to give it ia visual look, for example, people that do PPIs on Ford GTs typically charge 2-3K plus expenses but they know the product right left upsidedown and backwards.)
