When my car shipped from BackDraft after Speed Fanatix installed the engine, there was no thermostat installed. It overheated very easily. I think without the thermostat installed, the water was flowing through radiator too fast to have a chance to cool down. Did you check to see what thermostat you have and make sure its working correctly?

Cooling fan wired with correct polarity on the wiring?

What temp is Fan turning on at? Can you adjust what temp fan kicks on at?

The aluminum radiator you get from backdraft can be purchased with the mounting brackets installed as the aftermarket ones will mount a little different. I think the backdraft one also has option for the aluminum fan plenum and such….
