You may already have a plan for installing the transmission but I found installing 4 pieces of all thread about 10” long in the bellhousing holes for the transmission bolts worked well for me. I slid the trans over on plywood and lifted it on to the 4 studs, used the tail to aim it through the clutch disc and into the pilot bushing. It slid into place like closing a bolt on a rifle. The back of the engine does have to be elevated some but that is probably the case for about any method of installation. Good luck.
