Full disclosure.
I do NOT own a Shelby of any kind. I do own a '67 Mustang FB so I'm not a total stranger to classic Fords.

Some years back I was given the ubiquitous Cobra license plate frame.
Its old looking by which I mean it is not shiney or look like a repro...to my eyes anyway. It looks to have been well used/weathered.

So you know the question.
How or is there a way to determine whether its vintage, nay...original?

I've had it mounted on my bike shed wall for the last 10 years and thought maybe it really belonged on a Shelby.
