As a interesting side note: 3-Lola Gt's (Father of the Ford GT-40's) were built to run LeMans and other races in Europe. I have a very good friend that owns Lola Gt #1 (I believe we all know who he is
), brought the car from Eric Broadley (owner of Lola Cars LTD) in the mid 60's. I was asked 15-20 years ago to inventory the parts to Lola GT #1, before it was restored, I considered it a honor. #2 story, another friend just picked up a Andrew Broadley GT-40 (Only 12 were made) the other day, a truly beautiful GT-40, as another friend said a True 200MPH car. She was caretaker of this car for a year. Cheers TommyRot
