In reading each and every post with earnest attention, and I thank you all for that, it appears that the most common, safe and sensible decision is to go with the SR.

My Ruby Red Backdraft has an Iconic 427 and I really like it. It does exactly what I want it to do. Drive around town and take long road cruises. In comparing the 427 Iconic specs with the SR, there are many similarities.

rodneym's hit it on the head when he wrote: "Everyone says get the SR. And the buyer always gets the R - can't help themselves."

I've been warned but...I can't help myself. Going with the R.

I'll share my review when I get the car with that nasty Roush 427 R.
