Hello All, I have an ERA 289 FIA with the 3" OD side pipes. It's way too loud right now with just an insulated insert inside the 3" pipe. I am wondering what others have done on this car for exhaust options. I think it would be hard to put anything larger than a 3"OD under the car without it being too low or rubbing the designed saddles where the exhaust runs near the out riggers. All or most of the glasspack and chambered tubes are 3.5" OD or larger. I did see that magnaflow makes a same side offset in/out muffler that may work. I would prefer to stay period correct looking but would look at any options. Whatever I decide I will definetely still have the exit in front of the rear tires.. Any Advice? Any pics of what you all have done?
