So ive read elsewhere, hydraulic lifters in pedestrian grade passenger cars are quiet and maintenance free...in a performance scenario they are neither.

So how noisy should they be, and at what point should they be ‘maintained’?

I have a hydo cammed 600hp windsor with a builders ‘secret’ cam...
