KMP600 here.
About 2 years ago my electrical quit (only breakdown in 12 years).
The internals of the switch got sloppy. I had to reach under the dash and clock the ignition under tension for the remaining ride home.
Replaced it with Napa KS6180 and been fine ever since. Of course you'll get a new set of little toy keys
