The 4CRDAK121PF000986 is a Classic Roadsters MSO number. Lots of MSO numbers were used as VIN numbers. All pre bankruptcy CR Cobra MSOs had 4CRDAK prefix. Post bankruptcy are 4KCDAK. Maybe the car was paid for in full, got a pre bankruptcy MSO than shorted the body due to bankruptcy. Some guys got nothing. “Unfilled backorder” was the CR I company motto rite. Some guys bought the Excalibur body’s that they sold, body only, for their CR chassis. I almost did it myself. I think you have a CR with Excalibur body. The Feb 93 CR chassis I have has the seat mount C channel metal installed with short sides facing down. In the few photos I’ve seen Excalibur flipped them over so short sides are pointing up.
