180-190 degrees with a 180 degree thermostat is pretty normal for highway driving, expect it to spike in stop and go traffic.

The two speed electric fan from the 1994 to 1998 Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable with the 3.8L engine, don't laugh, It's a 16" diameter fan on low speed 2000 CFM, high speed 3500 CFM Does have a tendency to pull a lot of amps, but cools BB hotrods very well.
