Yes!
This is where the MPFI really shines. I had the "biggest" cam I could get into my 427W. It idled smoothly (for a big cam) at 850 rpms. Low and mid range drivability was smooth as silk. But mash the throttle and it would scream like a banshee and take off like a rocket.
I don't think I'll ever go back to a carb.
