That link takes me to "Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations" ...and at the last check, I'm in still resident in South Australia.
NT has roads that run straight for 1000km, so maybe they don't need direction indicators there

Scoot down to Division 12 on page 52. They call them "Direction Indicator Lights." It's pretty much the same as the laws in the north where the smarter people live. I'm now doubling my bill.
