Pretty sure that is an earlier 8.8 Mustang rear end. There should be a tag on the rear cover plate under on of the bolts back cover. It can decode what year, gear ratio, and lim slip or not.

As already asked, what size wheels are you using? That will be the deciding factor as to which way you go on the brakes.

I will point out that your car is about 1000 lbs lighter than what the current brakes are designed to stop.

If you are looking to race it you go one direction. I have the same brakes and plan on street use. I am leaving my brakes "as-is". If I do a brake upgrade I will most likely use Wilwood brake calipers in front using the stock Mustang II rotors so they fit inside my 15" wheels. I will possibly convert to rear factory style calipers when I shorted the rear axle housing 1 1/2" on both sides to tuck in my wider 9 1/2" rear knock off wheels.

I am more focused on the suspension parts for handling. I am upgrading to tubular A-arms in front with coil overs. Will most likely upgrade to coil overs in rear as well.
