I feel like I am kind of being led around in a circle to back where I stared (but thanks for the suggestions) . Road &Track which has published that John Chun designed the '67 later retracted, after doing the math they decided he arrived too late at Ford to be involved.

McHose told me in person he and another designer did it but I don't remember the other designer's name. So i am back to searching for the name of the '69 Shelby designer.But Shinoda was probably too busy with the '69 Boss 302 and 429 which if they were successful, would make Shelby's appeal to Ford less valuable.
