John, you appear to be of the thought that Rick Kopec was somehow involved in the sale of the Fran Kress 2049 to the Netherlands. To my knowledge, he was not. And I have been advised by people who should now that an entirely new chassis was created for that car, and it used rack and pinion steering. That would negate the chance that an original VIN remained on the chassis, as on the early worm and sector cars it was on the steering box bracket which was removed from this car.
