First off we need more info. ?? What are you using the Cobra for (Track days, Auto-X, or just a better street tire?) I purposely used my rear tire as the weakest link in the drivetrain, WAY CHEAPER to replace tires than anything else in the drivetrain. If you go with anything less than a 100 treadwear, that tire will not be a tire you want to get caught in the rain with (Racing rain tires have deep channels, sticky street tires do not). Plus your opening up a can of worms, by stressing the rest of the drivetrain, as stated. Cheers TommyRot.
