Gentry
Shadow,
Gentry was in business in the mid 90’s and built a very nice car. The cars were built turnkey with engine, transmission and paint to customer specs. They all had a Ford 9” diff set up as an IRS. I believe the bodies and some other parts were purchased from Unique. Gentry was in Alabama originally then sold to another builder and closed up shortly after. Cars were priced in the mid $60’s making it difficult to sell more than just a few cars at that time. I would imagine you could source most parts needed to service the car. Likely would need a fab shop for any specialty chassis or suspension part that may require service.
If you google Gentry you’ll find a website with some information along with a few videos. This forum has a few threads about the cars as well.
I looked at the car your considering. Take a close look at it. Pretty sure the car spent some time on a track. Not necessarily a bad thing just something to note.
I hope you find the car of your dreams. I’ve owned 3 previously and spent the last 2 years looking for a particular car. Finally found it about a month ago. Waiting for the weather to settle down on a weekend so I can pick it up and bring it home.
