Putting a petcock in is literally a five minute job once you figure out the threading. But, you just might find that, depending on how much you're driving your car, that you really don't need to change your
oil but every three or four years, if that. Shooting an oil sample out to a lab would tell you and you just suck the sample out the dipstick tube.
