Builds that have an externally mounted fuel pump, do typically make noise, so this may be normal. Now, if you have an in-tank fuel pump, it should not be too loud, many people don't even hear it.

If you have an external pump, and are looking to switch to an internal style, we do offer a fuel tanks. One of the styles has an integrated spot for an internal fuel pump to be installed, sold directly through our parts department.
