My local bodyshop sent me to a metal supermarket.
I got a gauge thicker than they recommended, and that was overkill.

Take it apart, make a cardboard template from seat (four bolts) to the mount points (for me, four different points). Then I took it to the shop; they welded up the patterns and made threaded holes to the spec.
