What exactly are you calling a "surge" tank??? I have always heard the tank that is used in conjunction with the radiator/cooling system on the front of the motor referred to as an expansion tank. The one on the firewall that is part of the pcv system I am not sure of the real or technical name for it, but it is loosely called the "
oil puke tank"??? If it's the radiator one, I have a stainless one on my Superformance, so I know they absolutely do exist and were at least made at one time. The PCV tank on my car is plastic and if you mean that one, I'd like to get a stainless one too. Sorry I am not much help, but not even sure what you are referring to. M
