I think its worth doing if you don't have to tear the car apart. I sat in one that's being built, and my head is at the top edge of the windshield, so we removed the seat cushion, and I sit more centered in the windshield, and I sit at a height where the roll bar (properly designed, not just a cosmetic one) will actually protect me, without being lengthened and sitting way to high. While I'm at it, I want to see if the fab shop can narrow up the trans tunnel to widen the foot well.
