I just did a pan capacity test per eschaider's recommendation. I used water instead of oil. To the baffle it held 5.25 qts. Going any higher will introduce oil into the front chamber. My filter holds 1/2 a qt. This equates to 5.75 qts. That's a difference of 3.75 qts from Moroso's advertised capacity of 9.5. I know these Coyote's have more oil flowing through them than the average old school small block but can it be that much? I want to get as much of the previous posts calculations right so I can mark my stick if even necessary.
