Determined e36 bushings would not fit my BDR brackets without modifying the openings. Bought preinstalled bushings instead.

Drilled the bracket bolt holes to fit BDR M12 bolts. Stock e36 bolts are M10. Squirted moly grease into the bushings with a grease needle. Used dish soap and a rubber mallet to get bushings onto the a-arm stubs, then fitted and torqued the mounting bolts. The old brackets twisted off the stub; no puller needed.

Steering is noticeably more precise and predictable, especially as the suspension loads up on turn in. Haven't felt any additional harshness. Installed Monoball RTABs a few months back along with poly subframe, diff and rear wheel carrier bushings. All worthwhile upgrades from my perspective.
