Default Same Problem
A friend of my wifes son has just rebuilt his Mustang 302 and is having the same problem. Headers are glowing red hot but water temp is within tolerable range. Hopefully, someone can answer your questions and I can pass this info on. However, he upgraded his cam and injectors.
