Christmas popped? Not sure why that is? I'm interested for sure. Almost best case scenario given that I knew up front they are replica's. If they were untraceable crap, I wouldn't be interested.
Anyway, cat's out of the bag now. The shop did send me pics of the tags, so I'll share AK numbers later when I have time to get back to this. And if you knew the owner and his cryptic stories (which is totally normal for him in discussions of all things), you would understand how some of them may actually track back to connect to some sort of something that makes sense. Brian A didn't actually build these cars, he was just the owner of the joint. That is how this owner thinks, so makes sense why he told me Brian had nothing to do with the build (even though he clearly did). And chassis numbers he said were probably of these four he had built, not the actual AK numbers. It's hard to get a straight answer from this guy, but once you learn the story, it's amazing how you can connect the dots back to something that made sense to him.
Besides, he was there at the factory with the guys and is still alive, so I can probably get some scraps of more stories, which is a big part of what is so fun about these carts. Happy day for me.
