Well MISTER TommyRot. I most certainly did have a RAT MOTOR in my first Cobra and absolutely loved it's "world coming to an end" stump pulling power. I'd drive 75 miles to a drag strip, crank off some 10.70's and then drive back home on my street radial tires. It went in a straight line just fine but curves...not so much. My cute little 289FIA is much more reasonable, comfortable, and a little more refined (for a Cobra). I've got almost 90K miles on its teeny engine and still puts a smile on my face, just not the sheer terror I'd loved before.
