Just my opinion, which is worth what you paid for it, but $69K will buy you one hell of a Cobra - that's well into ERA territory. You can certainly buy a CCX, SPF or Backdraft for that money as well. No way I would pay that for a used Cobra of unknown or questionable heritage. That's high end car with a fiberglass body pricing.

EDIT - I just looked through those photos again. There is nothing at all on this body that is not 100% Contemporary. Door hinges, hood hinges, sidepipe openings, raised boss under the front parking lights, tunnel shape and size, rear bulkhead, and many, many other things. I'd have to guess at this point perhaps a Frankenstein car - a CCX body on unknown chassis.
