Cranky, you are correct in that he has not shown to be as good. Last year, he finished in the top 10 at the glen and sears. The year before he was the fastest guy in practice at the glen. Qualifying got rained out, so they drew straws for the last few spots and he lost so he could not compete. 2 years ago a weld broke on the a frame and he was out. He then took over for jaspers driver mid race and climbed 20 spots. He originally qualified 20th after being fastest in practice too. The make shift crew had over filled the oil tank and it was leaking in front of the rear tires for qualifying. 3 years ago at the glen he was in 5th with 12 laps left, the 4 in front still had to pit and the motor broke. If he has a good car, good crew and qualify's well, he will win one of these years. He is hard on parts though. I think hes just as good as Martin, Rudd, Stewart, Wallace, and the Gordon(s). Scott
