See the answer to Bill above. And you have not answered the question regarding I.P. rights. I guess you were never paid by your employer and just went to work for sh!ts and giggles.
And some dealers do provide the MK III manual from Mike Stenhouse as a matter of good business. And some may not. It is up to the dealer; these are the things that differentiate some of the dealers.
As a dealer who has just spent many hours helping two purchasers who bought elsewhere get their cars through the New York State registration system, don't lecture me about customer service. We are providing it on cars we never made a dime on.
