Wow, that is something you don't want to find under any seat! The closest I came to that was, a BT-13 I was working on, I was skinniest, so I got volunteered, to wiggle my way back to the tail, to see why the elevators were binding. When I was just finishing my inspection, I looked up with the flashlight, and there she was, big and black, with her hourglass. Of course, no rag, or anything else to see to her demise. I started yelling, pull me out, over and over. Latter, one of the other guys, with a good sense of humor said, "you had nothing to worry about, she wouldn't have hurt you!" I said, what do you mean, if she bit me in the face I shure would be in pain! He said, "one look at your ugly mug, and she would be heading back up that silk as fast as her eight legs would take her!" Funny thing, my gear shift knob on my Tacoma is a real Redback spider, with one of her front legs resting on a .38 Special cartridge ! Cheers, Dennis
