According to Ford service manual

"All 65- 72 removable carrier"

carrier to housing nuts 30-40 ft.lbs.

u-bolt nuts 12-15 ft. lbs

"All 65- 72 Integral carrier"

inspection cover screws 15-20 ft.lbs

u-bolt nuts 12-15 ft. lbs
