With the low back seats the presence or absence of a roll bar just leads to a different injury. If the wife wants them then they’re well worth it for that reason alone. Sound reasoning. Roll bars that are in range of your cranium are far more likely to do you in with blunt force trauma in a regular traffic mishap than to protect you (and yours) in a rollover. I do love the OP's paint color though - the car should look stunning.
