It is a Dove Tunnel Wedge inline dual four. heavily modified port matching.
The heads have been milled and thus the intake manifold. The engine sits almost level so the carb are higher in rear. The S&H air cleaners have been trimmed so they are 1 1/2" high and the perforated rings are trimmed so the out side is only 1 3/8" . The filter material was replaced, because the original filter material had been singed and probably let some bad stuff get in. I had always thought the little air cleaners were the big limiting factor. When The car would not start in spring. the plugs were all black and the new gasoline ,it started and it ran so much better without the air cleaners installed.
